The blog format has devolved.
Old-school bloggers are still blogging, like Anil Dash and John Gruber. But there are now more forms that look like blogging, be it Twitter, tumblelogs, curations, etc. And then of course, there’s all the new media stuff that calls itself a weblog, but is really just old-school celebrity fascination, lifestyle writing and collections of tips.
Not coincidentally, this piece is also the reason I’m revamping this weblog. Onward!
